(Bad) Habits

Here are a few of the bad habits I want to exterminate from my life.

  1. Do not bite cuticles (I actually just bit my cuticle subconsciously after writing this).
  2. Do not pick scabs or bite skin on your lip. Gross.
  3. Do not spend longer than one hour in front of a screen per day unless you’re doing work or seeing a movie. Acknowledge that Facebook is a time suck and it doesn’t really take that long to upload pictures and like a few friends’ statuses.
  4. Spend less time thinking and/or procrastinating and more time doing.
  5. Do not agree to doing something that you actually don’t have time to do (or don’t want to do). On the flip side, if you say that you are going to do something, then follow through.
  6. Always respond to emails and voicemails as promptly as possible.

    1. Celeste, I’m glad I’m not the only one! It’s such a subconscious habit, isn’t it? I’ve read that a good way to stop biting the cuticles is to apply a bitter-tasting polish. Maybe I’ll try that!
